Since the Digi DS-980 has an RS-232 serial interface, you can connect the equipment to the PC or connect a scanner. Digi DS-980 scale has low power consumption and can be fed from the socket (220V). It has an automatic shut-off feature, so it shuts down when not in use. The duration of inactivity is determined by the user. Digi DS-980 electronic balance is resistant to impacts, overload and splashing of liquids and can be used even in high humidity environments up to 85%.
